Hi,

My apologies as this is not a forsale ad, but if you could keep an eye
out for this, I would be grateful. Say $100 for info that leads to an
arrest or return of the bike.

Most likely Monday or Tuesday this week someone made off with the kids
dirt bike from the Salmon Creek area, just north of Vancouver, WA. It's
a '91, white/red, XR (4 cycle), 100cc, VIN JH2HE0302MK000261.

It has a few unique home repairs. The shifter has a 1/4" bolt welded on
the end. I made a replacement cover for the choke spring from the head
of a phillips screw. You can see it from the outside of the carb.
There are a few others I could let you know about if you think you've
found the bike.

Thanks!

Mike

Property stolen during a burglary of my home turned up at 4536 SE 36th
place; just below Holgate in SE Portland. Crystal Encinas, the owner, had an
affiliation with the Portland Police Athletic Association at the time my
home was burglarized; at least according to information I found in her
garbage can. You might drive by and check it out. One of my stolen
jukeboxes, several pieces of my electronic test equipment, and much of my
antique show inventory was on her patio, which you can see from SE 37th Ave,
between the houses behind her. I'm sure she still wonders which friend
snitched on her to collect my cash reward (grin!)...

I doubt it was her, but I'm hoping for similar results. Maybe someone
would see it and figure it's worth a $100 to drop me a line. I'm
tempted to write up a flier and post it at the local bike places as well.

Write the flyer... YOU will have to do ALL the work to get this thing back..
Better to do it now while the trail might still be warm than to wait for the
bike to get away

Call Washington area shops and ask them if you can mail or fax a flyer for
their shop.
